Klein kicked the opening kickoff out of bounds.  On 2nd down, #10 Kenny Stover threw to #8 Michael Starr who was running a crossing route.   The play went for 30 yards to the Klein 40.  Stover threw to #7Cory Abron for 7yards, then #21 Le’mon Ford ran for the 1st down.  A swing pass from Stover to Abron netted 15 yards and another first down.  Stover threw to Starr on the right side for the touchdown.  A 2pt conversion was added to make the score 8-0.

The Klein Oak kickoff was short giving the Bearkats the ball at the 35yard line.  The Klein team was not able to move the ball and had to punt on 4th down.  #7 Abron received the punt and returned to the KO 45.  On 1st down, Stover threw to Starr who ran down the right side to the KHS 25.  After 2 incomplete passes, Stover hit Abron for a 1st down at the 15.  A Stover pass to Starr moved the ball to the 5-yard line.  #11 Alfred Baratti caught the pass for the touchdown from Stover.  The PAT failed and the score was 14-0.

The Panthers again kicked off short and there was a mad scramble for the football.  Klein recovered at their 30-yard line.  Aided by a suspect pass interference call, Klein moved the ball to the KO 3-yard line as the 1st quarter ended.  They scored on the 2nd play of the 2nd quarter making the score 14-7 after the PAT.

Abron returned the Klein kickoff to the 33.  The Panthers gained some yardage but had to punt on 4th down.  After a good punt, Klein started at their 20yard line.  On 2nd down and inches, a gang of Panther tacklers sacked the KHS quarterback for a 10-yard loss.  On 3rd down, under heavy pressure from #33 Chris Blaylock, the Klein QB passed to a Klein lineman.  This is not legal and the Bearkats were penalized and then had to punt on 4th down.  The punt was real short giving the Panthers the ball at the Klein 35.  Stover passed 14 yards for a 1st down to #14 Charles Musselwhite.  Stover threw again to Musselwhite but this one was knocked down in the end zone by a Klein defender.  The next pass went to Starr for 11-yards obtaining the 1st down.  4 plays later on a 4th and 10 Stover hit Starr in the right corner of the end zone for the TD.  The 2pt conv. failed making the score 20-7.

The Panthers kicked off, #38 Tyler Jones tackled the ball carrier at the 30.  After a couple of long yardage penalties against the Panther defense, the Bearkats scored with 9 seconds left in the half.  The PAT failed and the score at halftime was KO 20 KHS 13.

The Panthers tried an onsides kick to open the 2nd half.  A Klein player signaled for fair catch.  A Panther player tackled him after the catch was made which caused a 15-yard penalty to be assessed.  The Bearkats then moved the ball to the KO 20.  On 4th down #20 Edward Germany came up with a big tackle to end the threat.  The Panthers took over.  The Panthers were not able to gain a 1st down.  They punted on 4th down.  The Klein receiver misplayed the ball, it hit him in the facemask and bounced into the arms of #81 Tom Call.  Call raced to the end zone for an apparent TD.  The play was called back due to a holding penalty prior to the kick.  Having been pushed back 10 yards, the Panthers punted again.  The punt was fumbled and Call was again on the ball.  This time the Panthers gained possession.

After a penalty against Klein for having to many players on the field, Stover threw to Call for 8 yards and a 1st down.  Next, Ford took a pitch from Stover and gained 10 yards.  A pass to Musselwhite and a run by Ford gave the Panthers the ball at the 5-yard line.  Stover threw to #14 Musselwhite for the touchdown.  The 2pt conv. failed.  Score 26-13.

#45 Andrew Reisdorf tackled the Klein return man at the Klein 15.  3 plays and no gain caused the Bearkats to punt.  KO took over at there own 45.  Ford ran the next 2 plays gaining 18 yards.  #3 Kerry Harris sandwiched 2 7-yard runs around a personal foul and the Panthers ended up not making a first down and punted.

The Bearkats got the ball at their 30-yard line.  The moved the ball to the KO 37 as the 3rd quarter ended.  On 4th down with 12 yards to go, the Bearkats tried a reverse.  #22 Blaine Robertson made the tackle stopping the runner short of the 1st down marker.  The Panthers used the run game featuring Harris, Ford and Abron to move the ball to the Klein 7.  2 consecutive holding calls against the Panthers moved the ball back to the 27 putting them in a 1st and 27 situation for the TD.  Abron, playing QB threw to Call for 7-yards.  Then Abron carried the ball to the 13 and then to the 7.  Another holding call moved the ball back to the 20.  On 4th down with 20-yards to go for the touchdown, Stover came back into the game and threw a 20 yard strike to #81 Call for the TD.  The PAT was blocked.  Score 32-13.

#38 Tyler Jones made the tackle on the kickoff at the Klein 22.  The Bearkats moved the ball to the 30-yard line with 3 seconds left in the game.  On the last play of the game they scored on a 30-yard pass into the end zone.  The Final score was Klein Oak 32 Klein 20.
